Escape Adventures "Mountain Biker's Trips" are a great excuse to escape from the city and enjoy 4 days of fantastic cross country riding.

Sometimes challenging and at times a bit technical, our Nelson and Golden Bay Mountain Biker's Trip is achievable by anyone with a reasonable level of single-track experience. With a focus on scenic and cross country trails we ride on a variety of single-track, farm tracks and 4x4 roads - starting in the hills & forests behind Nelson City and including the famous 'Rameka Track' which drops us down into stunning Golden Bay.

We spend our days riding through the spectacular scenery and fantastic tracks which Golden Bay is famous for finishing each day in our pick of the region's guesthouses and lodges with the ever-present hot showers, cold beers, local wines and food and at times quirky restaurants!

WHAT IS THE BIKING LIKE?

4 days mountain biking - farm tracks, 4x4 tracks and cross country single track.
Suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of single-track experience and a good level of fitness.
From 20km to 60km per day. Total distance approximately 150km.

THE BASIC LO-DOWN

We travel in a loop at the north of the South Island, from Nelson out to Golden Bay and return.
Vehicle supported. Our trusty support vehicle carries all your luggage, lunch, snacks and transfers us between rides.
Accommodation is twin share - 3 nights in guesthouses and lodges.
Food includes breakfasts and lunches from lunch on day 1 to lunch on day 4; evening meals are at your own cost at local cafes and restaurants so that you can experience some of New Zealand's famous local cuisine of your own choosing.
Group size minimum 4, maximum 10 plus Escape leaders.

PRICE INCLUDES: 3 nights accommodation on a twin share basis, 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches, Escape bike guides/drivers, support vehicle and trailer to carry your all luggage, all land transfers for the duration of the tour.
